Fundraising Committee

Committee Chair: Breana Batton 

Fundraising is one of the most important committees because the Booster Club budget is solely derived from proceeds from fundraising, membership dues, and family donations. The Basis Booster Club does not receive any funding from outside sources.  

 

This committee is responsible for getting enough money to allow the Booster Club to support existing programs and fund new initiatives. There are many on-going fundraising opportunities for families to take part in and the best part is, most of them don’t cost you ANYTHING!  

 

The responsibility of the Committee Chair includes oversight and coordination of tasks done by fellow committee members as well as:

  • Update members on discussions at the general Booster Club meetings

  • Organize committee meetings as needed.

  • Bring forward concerns or requests to the Booster Club Board for discussion or resolution.

  • Submit an End-of-Year Summary report to the Booster Club Board.

 

General working responsibilities for committee members include:

  • Maintain a list of committee members (name, phone, address, email).

  • Keep a record of expenditures and submit reimbursement requests to the Treasurer.

  • Attend committee meetings as needed.

  • Collectively make decisions on fundraising options to use for the following year.

  • Work closely with Events Committee on fundraiser portion of Booster events.

  • Eat out for Al nights
