The Community Outreach Committee goals are to build community and raise funds for the Annual Teacher Fund through connecting Basis BR with local business and organizations. 

 

The responsibility of the Committee Chair includes oversight and coordination of tasks done by fellow committee members as well as:

• Update members on discussions at the general Booster Club meetings

• Organize committee meetings as needed.

• Bring forward concerns or requests to the Booster Club Board for discussion or resolution.

• Submit an End-of-Year Summary report to the Booster Club Board.

 

General working responsibilities for committee members include:

• Maintain a list of committee members (name, phone, address, email).

• Keep a record of expenditures and submit reimbursement requests to the Treasurer.

• Attend committee meetings as needed.

• Collectively make decisions on Community partners.

 

Examples of last years activities: 

• Solicited sponsorships for Gala

• Worked with community partners to secure donations for Events

• Habitat for Humanity
